THE CHUTE NEIGETTE TO MONT COMI TRAIL: A MUST-DO<\/span><\/h3>\n

The <\/span>Chute Neigette to Mont Comi trail<\/span><\/a> is rated an <\/span>intermediate to advanced hiking trail<\/b>, mostly due to the length of the trail. It would take <\/span>about 3 hours<\/b> to hike the trail and back again. The trail\u2019s signs are marked out all the way along the route. It\u2019s also good to know that <\/span>you can visit the Chute Neigette in winter<\/b> if you\u2019ve got <\/span>snowshoes<\/span>. The <\/span>frozen waterfall scenery<\/b> is said to be of unparalleled beauty!<\/span><\/p>\n

If you decide to embark on the trail from the Chute Neigette to Mont Comi, make sure you\u2019re <\/span>well-equipped<\/b>. Hikers frequently report that there <\/span>aren\u2019t many other visitors<\/b> on this trail so it\u2019s important to pack everything you might need.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vieux Loup de Mer\u2019s recommendation: If you enjoy hiking and high viewpoints, consider also trying to climb <\/b>Pic Champlain<\/b> at the Parc National du Bic near to Rimouski.\ud83d\ude0a<\/b><\/p>\n

CLIMBING AT THE CHUTE NEIGETTE<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Chute Neigette is not only <\/span>a hiker\u2019s<\/b> paradise, <\/b>it\u2019s also a <\/span>dream playground for climbing enthusiasts<\/b>. You\u2019re even able to climb up the <\/span>main waterfall rock face<\/b>. There\u2019s a total of <\/span>9 climbing routes<\/b> available for you to enjoy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having <\/span>heights of between 12 and 32 metres<\/b>, the different climbing routes at the Chute Neigette let you discover the area and experience <\/span>plenty of thrills<\/b>. Please note that some of the routes are <\/span>very steep<\/b> and therefore intended for <\/span>experienced climbers<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

It goes without saying that we do not recommend that you do any climbing at the Chute Neigette <\/span>if you have little experience or lack the right equipment<\/b> to climb up the cliffs!<\/span><\/p>\n

FEES AND ACCESSIBILITY<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Chute Neigette and its trail are <\/span>accessible from May until October<\/b>, <\/span>as soon as the sun comes up<\/b>. Note that it\u2019s also possible to <\/span>visit the Chute Neigette in the winter<\/b> if you have <\/span>snowshoes<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The nature attraction is accessible <\/span>via the 621 exit on highway 20<\/b>, just after the <\/span>Saint-Anaclet village<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

To follow the trail between the Chute Neigette and Mont Comi, <\/span>make your way to the Fourneau-\u00e0-Chaux hill<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n
