Parc du Bic is home to many mammals. The most well known of them is the North American porcupine. In fact, the park is home to one of the largest populations on the continent. A wide variety of carnivorous animals also reside here. Bobcats, moose, coyotes and black bears are all found here.
White-tailed deer, Canadian beavers, marmots, and many herbivores also populate the park in all seasons.
There is also a particularly dense population of animals that can be observed by looking towards the sky near the Pic Champlain.. You will have the chance to observe many birds of prey. Among them, you will find the bald eagle, the peregrine falcon, the red-tailed hawk and the golden eagle.
