Reford Gardens
Discover Jardins de Métis, one of Québec’s most beautiful horticultural gardens and a truly iconic destination.
Located between the St. Lawrence River and the Mitis River, these historic gardens offer a unique experience combining nature, art, heritage, and gastronomy.
Created by Elsie Reford between 1926 and 1958, Jardins de Métis feature more than 3,000 species and varieties of plants spread across around thirty enchanting gardens and walking trails. Visitors can admire the famous Himalayan blue poppy, contemporary art installations, and the renowned International Garden Festival, which attracts designers and creators from around the world every summer.
